What you will be working on:

As our Marketing Web Developer, you will work in partnership with Design and Marketing to concept and deliver a world-class web experience. As the sole web developer on the marketing team, you will own the implementation and maintenance of the You are proactive and obsess over site performance, usability, accessibility,  and love to implement elegant solutions that work and look great.   • Own the implementation of all things marketing related on
  • Ensure the highest quality of front-end deliverables at all times
  • Keep up to date with modern web technology and design practices
  • Play a critical role in increasing the number of new signups

A strong candidate for this role has:

  • Motivation to take on personal initiatives — we rely on the entrepreneurial spirit of everyone on the team.
  • Expertise with modern CSS, HTML, and JavaScript best practices
  • Strong knowledge and appreciation of Responsive design
  • Strong knowledge of Wordpress
  • Experience with speed/asset optimization
  • Ability to rapidly explore many different conceptual directions to arrive at the best solution
  • Experience using Git for source control
  • Appreciation and understanding of the larger context of business goals and an ability to prioritize accordingly
  • A solid understanding that the site and its design isn’t just aesthetics, but how everything works together holistically to help visitors convert to customers.
  • Familiarity with Ruby on Rails is nice to have but not required
  • Experience building scalable, maintainable marketing websites
